Finite minds, see finite ecosystems... Only one plant species imagined without any barrier for her reproduction, would produce all planet ocupied by almost that species within a time "t".
Forgeting, in general, the oportunity values derived from actual gaps in eficiency in human global ecosystems, specialy in the more alienated North, experts tend to see Earth Global Ecosystem as a finite system. The abduction of modernity (see article) functioned, during years, as a bipolar mental bomb.
That bipolar mental bomb reduces the global planet only to North countries.
Degrowth militants, following this reductionistic and partial perspective ("only North counts") forget three dimensions of Degrowth very present at three scales, all three denied paradoxicaly, by Degrowth movements.
First oblivion: the everyday life of your own communities, where many of activities are interactions out of National Countability. For example motherhood...
Second oblivion: the everyday life of Southern Countries, less abducted by modernity, and where many of interchanges are out of national countabilities. For example, the comercial freedom among local producers and consumers in the Medina of Tanger, and so many places all overthe world, mainly in the Great South. ("0.0 Comercial Center") (1.0 would be the modern comercial centers; 2.0would be for examplein the Medina of Antequera, where shops consorciated among themselves...)
Third oblivion:The third oblivion, not only for Degrowth movements, but in general in european, or Northern, eurocentric cultures, is the oblivion of their own very recent, but very long history. The Medina of Málaga was almost a 0.0 comercial center during 3000 years, until sixtees...
The restrictive development of our body sensorial, etc, powers through 18 years of our lives where bipolar classroom dominated, making that so considered "experts" are human beings "hipercephalic human beings" where left brain hemisphere was "the king", but now appears as "The Emperor in Tanga"

Descripción: Ecological economics is a recently developed field, which sees the economy as a subsystem of a larger finite global ecosystem. Ecological economists question the sustainability of the economy because of its environmental impacts and its material and energy requirements, and also because of the growth of population. Attempts at assigning money values to environmental services and losses, and attempts at correcting macroeconomic accounting, are part of ecological economics, but its main thrust is rather in developing physical indicators and indexes of sustainability. Ecological economists also work on the relations between property rights and resource management, they model the interactions between the economy and the environment, they study ecological distribution conflicts, they use management tools such as integrated environmental assessment and multi-criteria decision aids, and they propose new instruments of environmental policy.
